2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, subject to confidentiality obligations. These include:

  • Hosting and cloud infrastructure providers;
  • Payment processors and payment gateways;
  • Email service providers and marketing platforms;
  • Customer support and helpdesk tools;
  • Analytics and usage measurement providers;

5.3 Business Transfers

If AL STOCK TRADES is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality protections and applicable law.

5.4 With Your Consent

We may share information with third parties when you direct or consent to such sharing.

5.5 Aggregated & De-Identified Data

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for any purpose, including analytics, research, marketing, and Platform improvement. Such data is not considered personal information under this Policy.

6. “Selling” or “Sharing” Personal Information

Some U.S. state laws (including CCPA/CPRA) define “selling” or “sharing” personal information broadly to include certain transfers for advertising purposes, even without monetary exchange. We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain interactions with advertising and analytics partners (such as cookies and pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising) may be considered “sharing” or “selling” under these laws. You may opt out by following the instructions in Section 13 below.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party service providers use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies (“Cookies”) on the Platform. Cookies fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary: required for core Platform functions such as authentication, security, and load balancing;
  • Functional: remember preferences (language, region, display);
  • Analytics & performance: measure how users interact with the Platform (e.g., Google Analytics or similar tools);
  • Marketing & advertising: deliver relevant content and measure marketing effectiveness, including potential cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can manage Cookies through your browser settings or, where available, through our cookie preference tool. Disabling certain Cookies may affect Platform functionality. Continued use of the Platform with Cookies enabled in your browser indicates consent where consent is required.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

The Platform may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, services, or applications (including Discord, payment processors, brokerage links, and partner sites). This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before providing them with personal information.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including:

  • Providing the Platform and maintaining your account;
  • Complying with legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, and reporting obligations;
  • Resolving disputes, defending against claims, and enforcing our agreements;
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

Specific retention periods vary based on the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely destroy it. Backup copies, archived logs, and data retained for legal-compliance purposes may persist for additional periods.

10. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS), access controls, authentication requirements, and regular review of security practices.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity occurring under your account. You must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.

11. International Data Transfers

AL STOCK TRADES operates from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Where required by law (such as GDPR), we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or other lawful transfer mechanisms. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions in accordance with this Policy.

The Platform is not intended for, and is not directed at, children under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 within the meaning of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or under 16 within the meaning of GDPR. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us at al@alstocktrades.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

17. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. There is no industry-accepted standard for responding to DNT signals, and we currently do not respond to DNT signals from web browsers. You may, however, opt out of certain tracking through cookie controls described in Section 7 and through CCPA/CPRA opt-out mechanisms in Section 13.

  • Emailing al@alstocktrades.com with the request “Unsubscribe.”

Even after opting out of marketing, we may continue to send transactional or service-related communications (such as purchase confirmations, security alerts, and policy notices), as these are necessary for the Services.

19. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect “sensitive” personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data, or biometric identifiers) except where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or with your explicit consent. Where we do collect such information, we use it solely for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable law.

20. Automated Decision-Making

We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you within the meaning of GDPR Article 22. Some Platform features, models, or scanners may use algorithmic processing for educational analysis, but these outputs are illustrative and not used to make decisions that legally or significantly affect users.

21. Aggregated & De-Identified Data

We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify personal information so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you. This Policy does not restrict our use of aggregated or de-identified data, and we may use, sell, or disclose such data for any lawful purpose.

22. Third-Party Payment Processors

Payments for our products and services are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not directly store your full credit card number or full payment account credentials. Information you provide to a payment processor is governed by that processor’s privacy policy. We may receive limited information from the processor (such as transaction confirmation, last four digits of card, billing zip code) for fraud prevention and accounting purposes.

23. No Sale of Personal Information for Money

For the avoidance of doubt: AL STOCK TRADES does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. We do not rent or trade personal information. As noted in Section 6, certain advertising-cookie interactions may be deemed “sharing” or “selling” under broad statutory definitions, and you may opt out under Section 13.

24. Security Incident Notification

If we determine that a security incident affecting your personal information has occurred, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law. Notification methods may include email to your registered address, in-Platform notice, or other reasonable means. Notification timing and content will comply with applicable breach-notification laws in your jurisdiction.

25. Limitation of Liability for Privacy Claims

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, your sole and exclusive remedy for any claim arising under this Privacy Policy is governed by the Limitation of Liability provisions of our Terms of Use, which are incorporated herein by reference. Nothing in this Policy creates additional liability beyond what is set forth in our Terms of Use.
